Acceptance of any contribution, donation, or grant is at the discretion of The House Project Foundation. The House Project Foundation will not accept any donation unless it can be used or spent in a manner consistent with the purpose and mission of The House Project Foundation.
No irrevocable gift, whether outright or for life, will be accepted if, under any reasonable circumstances, the gift would jeopardize the donor's financial security.
The House Project Foundation will refrain from providing tax or other donation treatment advice and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisors to assist them in the process of making their donation.
The House Project Foundation will accept donations of cash or publicly traded securities. Donations of in-kind services will be accepted at the discretion of The House Project Foundation.
Other donations, real estate, personal property, donations in kind, illiquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in any way must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to special obligations or liabilities.
The House Project Foundation will provide acknowledgments to donors who meet the tax requirements for property received by the charity as a donation. However, except for cash donations and publicly traded securities, no value will be attributed to any receipt or other form of substantiation of a donation received by The House Project Foundation.
The House Project Foundation will respect the donor's intent concerning donations for restricted purposes and those related to the wish to remain anonymous. Regarding anonymous donations,

The House Project Foundation will not compensate, whether through commissions, finder's fees, or other means, any third party for directing a donation or donor to The House Project Foundation.
