In our line of Development in the Dominican Republic,
we work to create transformative ecosystems that improve the quality of life, the good living of communities and promote development, starting with Los Robalos, a town of 4,000 inhabitants in the province of Samaná.
We work hand in hand with the community in five priority and viable areas to achieve the development we desire:
- • Culture & Arts.
- • Education “Bayacú School” means “Morning Star” in the Taino language.
- • Housing improvement.
- • Environmental awareness.
- • Promotion of human and animal health.

The City of Arts
is the proposed cultural, artistic and sports center that will serve as a hub for artistic expression and sports activities for the community. The center is envisioned as a space that will foster inclusion, creativity, and well-being, while offering opportunities for learning, growth, and social interaction.
The Bayacú School
is planned to be built in the area with the support of allies and donors and will be the result of years of study and compilation of the best of existing educational philosophies, complemented with knowledge in psychology and integral health. We achieved a different educational proposal because we believe that more than a revolution, education urgently needs evolution.
Housing Improvement
Together with the institutions, allies and the community, we intend to improve the current state of 10 houses in the area, most of which do not have basic services, walls and roofs.
Environment
In the care of the environment, we focus on training adults and children in the Care of the Oceans and Solid Waste Management. Training is developed in the area's elementary schools and in the vocational school. With allies and the community, we collect and separate plastics.
Animal Welfare
At Los Robalos, most dogs and cats are not sterilized and animal abuse is common. We support the sterilization of pets and promote the good treatment of animals through training. On average, 60% of the residents have two pets, mainly dogs, so it is urgent to continue with the sterilization campaigns.
